National Technical Honors Society NTHS helps schools recognize students for their achievement in career and technical education. These select students received recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education. Students must attain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher in their academic classes and a 3.5 GPA or higher in their Career an Technical Education program. Thousands of schools and colleges throughout the U.S. and its territories have a chapter of the honor society on their campus.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA helps each student excel. We provide educational programs, events and competitions that support Career and Technical Education (CTE) in the nation’s classrooms.  SkillsUSA empowers its members to become world-class workers, leaders and responsible American citizens. SkillsUSA improves the quality of our nation’s future skilled workforce through the development of Framework skills that include personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics.

BPA .The Vision Statement of Business Professionals of America is: To be an innovator in Career and Technical Education, providing our members with opportunities for growth through education, competition, community service, and personal development. *Graphics & Printing students participate in BPA.

ProStart is a nationwide, two-year high school program that unites the classroom and the industry. It develops the best and brightest talent into tomorrow’s restaurant and foodservice industry leaders. In Michigan, 70 high schools and career centers use the ProStart curriculum with more than 5,000 students participating.  Students learn vital kitchen skills, including food safety and knife cuts, and important management lessons, such as menu development and marketing. The state competition provides a hands-on opportunity for students to demonstrate the skills learned throughout the year and be judged by top industry professionals.
